Puffy aka p Diddy and Chiroc Liquors have offered Mayor Bloomberg and the city of New York One Million dollars to change the colors of the New Years Eve ball to chiroc blue. I think it’s a good idea since we are apparently so broke that we have to get 88 new taxes are way in the upcoming year. Even though One Million wouldn’t put a dent in it, it does show that we are going to start to think creative to get out of this mess and not just tax the hell out of people.

For those in the know Janelle Monae has been bubbling in the underground for a minute now. Now her struggling has been rewarded by attracting the sights of the puffy one himself. Although his artist have been notorious in the past couple of years for having high profiling signings but not much in follow up, Janelle should be able to break that trend by being such an original and groundbreaking artist. It should be interesting to follow her career and see how it ends up, just being talented and original is not always that formula to success. Hopefully with backing of Diddy this should be more than enough.
