Mad Skillz once again brings us the heat with his song Wrap 2008. This one hits all of the targets thats you would expect him from the past year. Don’t agree with the Mike Vick evaluation but overall the song is hot once again. I hope as long as he can still make it hot that he keeps delivering them.

Remy Ma as well as Universal Music being sued by the woman she allegedly shot earlier this year. This is just the latest in legal hassles that Remy Ma has faced in the past year. She is suing Universal Records accusing them of encouraging her illegal behavior to hype up record sales. For more information go here

Its being reported that jay Z will leaves his post at Def Jam starting at the beginning of the year. According to his statement and going with what he has been stating all year is that he feels that the direction of the distribution of music these days is a flawed system and one that he is not in a hurry to be part of. It is yet to be seen what he will do after he steps but we are sure that his hands will be full with his new Real Estate venture as well as other side projects that have been reported.

It’s getting crazy out there especially in Philly. I love that city and visit it all of the time but it’s getting worse and worse out there. I am glad that these two could come together and do something positive.
