Posted under Jay ZI know what you’re, thinking…He rarely post and he decides to do one on Christmas? I post when I hear something funky and damnt this is funky. Reflection Eternal is back and they have a new joint called Just Begun. They decided to get some help on the track, so they enlisted Jay Electronica, J Cole, and Mos Def. Check it out.

I kinda dig this song but its one of those that’s a better video than it is a song that I would bump on my own.

brain cancer...
Before I trash anyone or anything, I like to give it a fair shot. Even though I felt like I gave Gucci a fair shot listening to his guest appearances and a couple of other songs off of his mixtapes, I still listened to his album. Yeah…big mistake.
Actually listening to the album made me less objective to all future Gucci projects. Whenever I hear that familiar tag “Gucci”, it will be an automatic shut off. I hated this album with a passion. It lacks any kind of soul to it. It has hot beats, great guest appearances, and a rapper that lacks any kind vision for the actual album itself. It was basically, let’s go into the studio, rhyme a couple of words together on a hot beat, and then get paid. I mean seriously, how can this guy be any kind of rival to Young Jeezy? Jeezy is not the most lyrical person out there, but he comes off at least semi intelligent and has an amazing flow. I guess gibberish passes for flow these days.
Let’s be clear I am not a lyrics have to be great kind of guy. I can enjoy a song without the lyrics being on the border of excellence. One of my favorite songs of the past year was “Turn my swag on” by Soulja boy. Someone I use to trash but now I am kinda convinced that he could show potential(as long as he stops telling his pre teen audiences to super soak a ho). And this isn’t a down south thing. I grew up half of my life in the south. No this is a trash rapper thing.
More of the story after the jump…
